- Lot Description
(2) Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Ginger Jars. Certificate of Antiquity included.
Left jar: Features a stylized mythical creature, possibly a Qilin or a dragon-like figure, in dark blue. The blue floral motifs appear to be peonies or chrysanthemums, typical of Chinese porcelain decoration. Small rounded knob on top of lid.
Right jar: Depicts a bird, possibly a phoenix or a peacock, perched on a rock or a stylized cloud. The floral motifs are again likely peonies or chrysanthemums. Elongated knob on top of lid.
Condition: Chips along rim near lid.
Size: 8 x 8 x 12 3/4 in.
