A Minton Pate Sur Pate teal and light gray porcelain vase and cover on an ivory ground of twin handled baluster form, the central oval medallion depicting a young scantily clad maiden holding her dress, the reverse with a flying cherub with peace branch in, both in white slip against an olive green ground. Signed LB for Lawrence Birks. Shape number 1914. Gold printed crowned globe Minton mark, with impressed Mintons mark and date cypher for 1892. With retailers mark of Caldwell & Co.
Very good overall, minor gilt loss to the lid. No apparent issues.
