An outsanding 2nd Empire Fench Gilt .950 silver and cut crystal encrier with dual inkwells retailed by Falize. The lids with eagle finials, the reticulated border cast with a pegasus and winged bull, encircled with a portrait medallion, sitting atop ball feet headed by a mask. The glass likely by Baccarat. Circa 1850. With .950 French stering silver standard marks.
