Tony Anella is a conservationist. He practices architecture and design inspired by interacting more gracefully with nature. He helped protect from development 30,828 acres of the Montosa Ranch in Magdalena, New Mexico, with a conservation easement, and co-authored Saving the Ranch: Conservation Easement Design in the American West (Island Press, 2004). He serves on the board of the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
Clare Anella (age 12) is passionate about soccer, skiing, and drawing. After studying studio art and art history in college, she plans to attend cooking school in Paris and then open her own restaurant, “Zester!”
