10 x 6 x 6 inchesA conceptual design for the bird that likes to preen. The Vanity Birdhouse is constructed of laser-cut acrylic mirror and reflects its environment. The vertical panels are uniformly spaced, creating cross-flow ventilation ideal for the tropical climate.
Kenji Kondo merges state-of-the-art technological systems such as CNC routing, laser cutting, and 3d printing technologies, with more traditional practices associated with the fine art of craftsmanship. Each piece is hand assembled with extreme precision and meticulous care. His clean, modern, and innovative designs transcend time and enhance the world. Kenji Kondo is a partner of Westbund West, an Albuquerque-based design collective and a former associate at Antoine Predock Architects PC.
