The Robin’s House
Wood and metal
12 x 12 x 16 inches
Designers and architects will often design their own homes based on their personal design styles or preferences. The Robin’s House was inspired by watching birds in flight and studying the proportions of the species and the color and textures of the feathers. The Robin’s House includes a water‐harvesting roof (wings and tail), ventilation, and recycled materials.
Elizabeth Suina is a recently licensed architect with a social mandate to meet the needs of Native Americans through planning, design, and architecture.
