- Lot Description
A Sons of the American Revolution medal on ribbon. Membership medal with 14k gold and blue enamel surround with an eagle and stars around a medallion of a minuteman on obverse and profile of George Washington and " Sons of the Revolution, 1883" on reverse hanging from a blue and yellow ribbon. Back of medal marked: "477". 3"h x 1 1/2"w.
Provenance: Through descent from the family of Brevet Major General Frederick Phisterer.
