- Lot Description
A group of eight W.T. Copeland and Sons for Richard Briggs plates. English. Late 19th century. Porcelain plates with scalloped and gadrooned edges and an Imari / Indian tree style pattern in cobalt, red, orange, pink, and gold among others. Marked under glaze in blue: "Copeland, China, England." Marked in brown overglaze: "Maufactured by W.T. Copeland & Sons For Richard Briggs, Made in England." 10 3/8"diam. Condition: Some scratches on top and rubbing off of gold in very small portions.
