New England Primer: Improved for the More Easy Attaining the True Reading of English: To Which Is Added the Assembly of Divines, andMr. Cotton'sCatechism. Published in 1777 by Edward Draper, Boston. The New England Primer was the first textbook ever printed in America and was used to teach reading and Bible lessons in our schools until the twentieth century. Small hardback with blue paper boards and leather spine. Condition fair with front cover broken, first page missing, writing inside, staining and foxing to pages.
