Hudson New York Historical Ephemera, William van Ness. Lot with ephemera of local historical value to Columbia county and Hudson New York from 18056-1909. Most notably is perhaps a letter from 1810 to William Peter Van Ness. Further included in the lot is: "The Shepherd of Salisbury Plain," "On Sailing Vessels out of port on the Sabbath," and different documents such as deeds, indentures, leases and some papers from "New York & Hudson Steamboat Co." and "Hudson Oil Works." All stored in a "Dwinell & Whright Co. Royal Spice" box.
