Auction records for this obscure play ad, with artwork by Andy Warhol, are scarce. ‘Some Men Need Help,' written by John Ford Noonanandproduced in association with Warhol "superstar" Jane Holzer, openedat the 47th Street Theatre in New York on October 28th, 1982 andclosed the following night. Warhol's poster design features a screenprintfrom a phototaken at The Factory of actors Treat Williams and Philip Boscoe,with added color blocks and line drawings characteristic of Warhol's 1980s work.
