An amusing Westtown Boarding School Chester County, Pennsylvania ink and watercolor A Map of the Paths of Life, 17 1/4" x 14 1/2". The drawing depicts a clever assortment of areas, including Thankful Heart Rock, Tell Truth Courtyard, Cursing Corner, Sculker's Niche, and Thieving Lane, inscribed along bottom Weston Boarding School 1800. Presented 14th Mo. 1806 to R.P. with hope she will excuse its many defects, nor ever expose the Name of the poor Performer.
