Three photographs, 19th c., of the Great Eastern Saloon, San Francisco, California, c. 1878-1880, taken by Isaac Grundy Davidson, to include an exterior photo, with three men out front of the saloon, with a dozen wooden barrels, a large Great Eastern Saloon sign over the door, as well as a second floor sign for the San Francisco National Brewery Depot, inscribed on verso Great Eastern Saloon circa 1880, owned by Max Wagner, San Francisco National Brewery started in 1878; an interior photo of the seating area, with billiards table and two bowling lanes, a thirty-eight star flag at the end of the lanes, and an organ against the wall, with large figural statues, inscribed on verso Great Eastern Saloon; and a photo of the bar with liquor displayed on shelves, a tapped barrel hanging next to the bar, a Max Wagner's advertising sign can be seen hanging over a Halls Safe & Lock Co. safe, inscribed on verso Great Eastern Saloon 1878, owned by Max Wagner, exterior photo - 8 1/2" x
