- Lot Description
Collection of twenty model railroad passes, collected by Robert H. Lake of Portland Oregon in 1956-1957, from other model railroaders. It is a common practice for model railroaders to create their uniquely designed passes, similar to standard railroad passes, and to exchange these passes with other NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) members. This collection consists of eight single passes, one with a note, and eleven passes in the original envelope in which they came, with notes. In addition, there are two requests for an exchange and one post card chastising Lake for not yet sending an exchange pass.
