- Lot Description
Etching, 9 3/8" x 12 1/2", 1910, edition of 50, pencil signed and titled "Old + New Mills". Pennell was a prolific artist in writer, who completed over 1800 etchings and lithos, including many European scenes like this one. His work is moody and refined, and clearly influenced by Whistler.
