Robert Jones (b. Cornwall) Oil on Canvas "Dawn Over Surfside", initialed lower right RJ, gallery label on reverse, titled on stretcher, matted and framed
39.5 in. x 47. in. Framed 45.5 in. x 54 in.
Jones studied fine art at the Falmouth School of Art. Prior to becoming a full time artist, Jones was a fisherman in the inshore waters of his native Cornwall and it's during this time that his love of the sea developed. Now, as a mature painter, it is the themes to which he is drawn.Condition
