Large Imari Meiji Period Porcelain Charger, 19th Century, shallow circular form painted in underglaze blue and typical colors enhanced with gilding; central scene of an oarsman pushing his boat with a bamboo pole is encircled by a band of alternating reserves of foo lions and fishes amid a riot of stylized blossoms within a patterned border; the underside with mark in underglaze blue
