Collection of Vintage Tony Sarg (1880-1942) Table Linens sold all as one lot Comprising:
2 Tablecloths, one in a central circular pattern with a smiling sun, profusely illustrated border with colonial diners and village scenes; the other with 20 vignettes including dogs and elephants serving drinks, and scenes of outdoor festivities.
2 Centerpiece Table Runners, one showing a steeple, town tower, soldier, governess pushing a baby carriage, a dog and a smiling sun; the other with a floral border depicting a bird and butterfly.
1 Cocktail Apron, depicting a steeple, town tower, soldier, dog and a governess pushing a baby carriage.
9 Placemats, two depicting a Punch and Judy show and a wealthy gentleman riding in a horse drawn coach; four depicting a group of ladies and gentleman with children at leisure taking part in fair activities; three depicting a hunter, horseman, drinker and maid.
12 Napkins, four depicting a high wheeled bicycle, a couple on a buggy ride, pigs, a maid, and a gentleman wearing red coat and top hat on a fox hunt; eight depicting a pink elephant, a gentleman on his walking bicycle, bar maids, dappled horse and rider, pink pig and a girl drinking wine.
2 Cocktail Napkins depicting butterflies and flowers.
