Two sheets joined, image 13 3/8 x 42 3/4" (34 x 109 cm) plus margins.
A magnificent panoramic view of the Italian city of Parma. In the lower margin is a numbered key identifying 38 prominent buildings. This view is based on a drawing by J. F. Saur. Little is known about J. F. Saur, as he only can be connected to few drafts for engravings of views and ornaments.Condition
Good condition save for several short marginal tears. Left margin added. Black & white.
