Christine Marshall's "Summer Evening - Seagulls" original acrylic on canvas painting, circa 1990. Exceptionally well done, in bright vivid colours. Three seagulls in the foreground stare out along the water to the horizon amid a summer's sunset. Appraisal documentation from Christine Marshall included. Appraised at $74,000 CAD in 2012. In excellent condition.

Christine has a Fine Arts Degree, and a Teachers’ College & Art Supervisor Certificate. She was first inspired by Nature in the Caledon Hills north of Toronto in the 1970's. Now she is a gallery owner and manager for over 40 years in Ontario. Specializes in acrylic on canvas and Wildlife and Nature painting. Christine has published over 260 limited edition wildlife prints and 26 Collector Plates to date. Christine’s style of painting, known as “Romantic Realism”, presents a positive and “warmer side” of Nature. EXHIBITIONS Over 100s of solo exhibits have been hosted across Canada, the United States and overseas in Christine’s career, with special shows in Whistler, B.C., the Biodome in Montreal and Ontario House in London, England.
