Thomas Hucker (b. 1955) Burlwood Ebonized Chest
In two parts.
This work is similar to Hucker's "Six Inch Cabinet" and his burl and amboyna tall chest.
A similar piece can be found in the collection of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and was featured in "New American Furniture: The Second Generation of Studio Furniture" book and exhibition catalog, on page 56 -57; exhibition dates December 1989 - March 1990.
