Queen Anne Mahogany Slipper Foot Game Table
English or Irish, c. 1750, with turret corners.
28 1/4 x 33 1/4 x 16 1/2 in. (71.8 x 84.5 x 41.9 cm.)Condition
Probably English or Irish. Shrinkage cracks, scratches, stains and wear to top consistent with age and use. Playing surface with similar wear and abrasions. Chips, repairs and minor losses to top at hinges. Shrinkage cracks, patches, re-coloring and minor losses to veneered apron. Some returns and glue blocks replaced. Patch and repair to inside top of front leg where it broke out. Unexplainable mortise on backside of front apron. Crack and repair to top of swing leg. Typical bruising and wear consistent with age and use. Pin of finger joint replaced. Otherwise good, stable condition. Thank you for your interest in our upcoming sale.
