Four Stained Wicker Baskets
Blue, red, grey, and green.
Wear, surface distress.
Provenance: Midwestern Virtue: Property from the Collection of Sam and Patty McCullough
Largest: 15 x 12 x 11 1/2 in. (38.1 x 30.5 x 29.2 cm.)Condition
Blue: Wear to base. Splits to base. Light varnish possibly added to surface or refreshed paint. Red: Paint later. Wear to paint on handle, base, rim and high spots. A few minor splits, losses to splint. Green: Later paint. Painted surface uneven, not painted on inside and on part of underside. Some scattered splits and losses. Center of basket on inside with some minor cracks. Weaving at top is a little loose. Grey: Wear to paint in typical areas. A few minor splits, cracks and losses to splints. Paint looks to be original. All in otherwise good , sturdy condition. Thank you for your interest in our upcoming sale.
