Verso bears old Christie’s bar codes and sale/lot tags from 20 Jan 06 sale 1617, lot 354. Not examined out of frame. Scattered foxing spots most visible in sky background. Some staining along top edge. Tear and minor loss in lower left corner. Stain near child’s lower right leg. Small tear on left long edge. Colors still pretty vibrant. The picture presents nicely and is ready to hang. Otherwise good condition. Slip on frame re “gilt”. Some cracks to veneer on frame and separation along miter joints.
