- Lot Description
Featured in this lot is this custom Navajo style Bistie or Teec Nos Pos rug. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool blend construction that shows a Navajo style that closely relates to a Bistie or Teec Nos Pos style that shows a lot of geometric patterns associated with both styles including prayer feathers some pictorial motifs and shows a very unique structure border with stepped patterns and a central motifs. The condition of this Navajo style rug is preserved with some slight wear to the rug due to age and use but otherwise is in preserved condition. The measurements of this rug is 71" x 49 1/2". The thread count is 64 threads per square inch. The rug is in the style and pattern of similar Navajo rugs, but is only the style, not Navajo made.
