Five 20th century brooches of Native American design. Two pieces stamped sterling silver: one depicting a fish swimming toward a star and bearing the maker's mark "The Dreamer" and one abstract design bearing the maker's mark "M. Spencer" (the pin portion on the back of this is sadly damaged). One swirling starburst design (unfortunately missing a single stone and with a quick safety pin repair to the back) which XRF testing has revealed to also be sterling. Gross silver weight: 3.545 ozt (110.3 g). The rest, a simple ornamental piece with round cabochons is largely silver in composition (but not sterling) and one ornamental piece with a goodly sized flat cut stone at its center that is largely brass. Total weight of all items. 5.230 ozt (162.7 g). Pieces exhibit patina consistent with age of items.
