Here is an extensive archive of vivid color photographs taken by a world traveler of 45+ years who has circumnavigated the globe via sailboat. Included are 46 matted prints. Most measure approximately 23" x 19" (some are 19" square) and are double matted, making their full dimensions approximately 29 1/2" x 25 1/2" (25 1/2" square for the smaller prints). The pictures themselves are in fine condition, the matting sometimes exhibits staining and tears and there are remnants of adhesive strips used for hanging on the backs of most, if not all, of these. An additional 27 photographic prints (13 images are mounted on a heavy stock and 14 are unmounted) are included as well. These range approximately in size from 20" x 24" to 18 1/2" x 24". All appear in fine shape, some perhaps with the slightest hint of fading. Some are still in the protective wrapping they were delivered in. Perhaps most significant in this group is the presence of dozens of negatives (believed to be Kodak 120 Professional film) and transparencies (on Kodak Ektachrome 100 Plus Professional) made from these negatives. The curation of these has become somewhat disorganized over time so it is difficult to say whether all the prints mentioned above have their corresponding film elements represented here.
