A Soft Colored Vintage Mid Century Modern Swedish Scandinavian Rug Titled “Vita Spetsporten” by Marta Maas Fjetterstrom, Origin Of The Rug: Sweden, Circa / Approximate Weaving Date: 1930’s – By using two simple and unified colors, the Scandinavian rug is able to convey a natural sense of outward peace, as if the viewer has stumbled upon an outdoors scene. A pallid dusky grey hue defines the Scandinavian rug by Marta Maas, and unique contrast is established when a slightly lighter shade is presented alongside key sections of contact. Through this basic color scheme, viewers are given more opportunities to enjoy the shapes present in this subtle and decorative vintage rug. Rigid lines create elegant patterns, with the variations in color close enough to make the lines appear as though they are hewn from stone. Angular swirls dominate the vast majority of the shapes present, and the rigid lines of movement convey a grounded sense of urgency that does not take away from the peaceful colors in this beautiful Swedish rug.Condition
