Intricate Fine Luxurious Persian Qum Silk Hallway Runner Rug, country of origin: Persian Rugs, Circa date: Vintage – Vintage fine silk Persian rugs from Qum hold a special place in the worlds of Persian rugs and weaving traditions. The city is ancient and only began producing rugs in the early twentieth century. Their fine silk pile area rugs are the result of fine rug traditions brought from the nearby city of Kashan, which has a rich history of creating some of the finest rugs in the world. This gorgeous rug is made from luscious silk that gives it a sheen that reflects the light in the room in a way no other material can do. It is an excellent choice for a hallway or as a pathway through a larger space.
Condition
Lot # 352 is in an excellent condition. The pile is full and even. The two ends are original , complete and secured. The two sides are complete and secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
