Description
A vivacious collection of colors springs to life before the viewer of this Sultanabad rug. Bright gold, pearly white and rich red all come together to create a regal series of patterns and movements, designed to awe the viewer and allow them to sweep over the finer details present throughout the rest of the piece. Floral motifs swirl against each other in diagonal flows and angular movements, resulting in a well-grounded series of shapes that lead the viewer’s eyes along the area rug. At the center of the piece is a gorgeous series of ferns and shrubs, all brought together in an elegant collection that stands against the bright background within.
Overall good condition. The pile is low and even with areas with more wear than others. There are old repairs and re-piling done very well. Minor tinted spots in scattered areas. There is no dryness or cracking in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
