Antique Ottoman Embroidery, Turkey, circa 17th Century – Here is an exciting antique Oriental rug – in fact, an antique Ottoman embroidery that was woven in Turkey during the 17th century. This exceptional and fine weaving is characterized by a lovely pattern that depicts vibrant birds and flowers. Delightfully imaginative, this antique embroidery includes a myriad of whimsical flourishes, from its bold and colorful depictions of birds to its intriguing two-dimensional treatment of three-dimensional figures.
