During the mid-1960’s Kirby Morgan was just getting started with their high quality copper / brass helmets. Also during that time the Yokohama company decided they would make a very similar helmet. After the two companies resolved the issue, Kirby Morgan gave Yokohama the rights to sell this very design. This specific helmet is a wonderful and rarely seen early Yokohama helmet based on the Kirby Morgan design. Features such as the enclosed air and communications box on the back and large acrylic windows are the visual clues. The helmet does feature a Yokohama tag as well as their name on the brails. All of the hardware is present. There is a carry handle on the right side window. It is attached via a stainless steel band that can be removed if so desired. The typical working dents are on the bonnet, but nothing severe. One of the rear brails is broken but can be repaired fairly easily. Overall, this is really a jewel of an original helmet! First Style After Kirby Sold Rights Item A-A21 Helmet stands are NOT included.
