- Lot Description
Here is a classic Soviet or Russian diving helmet from the height of the Cold War! This model was the work horse of the Soviet Navy. The helmet was made at factory #28 located in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). This factory was where all helmets were made in Russian from 1963 till 2000. This helmet is a 3 bolt model referred to as a UVS50m. It has a classic and simple design that features 3 bolts at the neck ring. The bolts seal the bonnet and breastplate together with a large gasket in between. The helmet is in very good condition with signs of light use - minor working dents. The glass is all intact as well as hardware. The top handle has a very slight bend to the right. Item A-A19 Helmet stands are NOT included.
