Very handsome book by Edward Shippen titled Naval Battles & Our New Navy: Naval battles of the world, great and decisive contests on the sea; causes and results of ocean victories and defeats; marine warfare and armament in all ages; including the glorious victories of the American Navy at manila and Santiago The Growth, Power and Management of Our New Navy in its Pride and glory of swift cruisers, impregnable battleship, ponderous engine and deadly projectile; our naval academy, training ship, hospital, revenue, light house and life saving service. Published in 1898, numerous detailed engravings and photos, 484 pages, edges are worn, overall fine condition. Fantastic cover imagery.
All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air.
