Presented is an authentic and untouched US Navy Mark III divers air pump mechanism. This is the full internal pump that is housed inside the wood cabinet. These air pumps are quite fascinating to watch function out of the cabinets. In addition, this pump was made by Miller Dunn during World War 2. It is a little-known fact that Miller Dunn in Miami, FL made these for the US Government during the war.
The pump mechanism appears to be complete. It does have a brass Miller Dunn ID plate and the #19 stamped above it. There are no cast iron wheels. The pump measures 35 inches wide, 34 inches tall and 18 inches deep. This is a water-cooled pump. The original red paint is still present on the frame and major components. Estimated at weighing approximately 500 pounds. This would a great restoration project and an impressive display piece.
Due to the size and weight the pump will need to be shipped on a pallet via FedEx Freight service. Please email for a shipping quote. The pump can also be picked up at our facility in Wichita, KS.
All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.
