- Lot Description
This helmet is probably a KIM made in Korean. We are not quite sure just how old it is, but would estimate possibly pre WWII. The helmet exhibits the classic look and signs of use, but unlike a lot of these type of helmets, it was not abused. Referred to as a 3 Light 12 bolt style, these were used throughout the world by commercial divers. There was originally an oval ID Plate on the breastplate which is gone. On the inside of the bonnet neck it does say Seaway Diving 77, indicating the company that owned it presumably in 1977. The helmet does have a small hole on the back where a communications wire was installed. CADH1 Helmet stands are NOT included.
