WWI Official printed report by the Ministry of Reconstruction dated 1919 on the position after the war of women holding temporary appointments in Government Departments 8pp folio. A sensitive issue. Women were recruited actively in all working situations during the war to take the place of the men who were at the front. In many instances however once the war came to an end the women were forced out to make way for the returning men, in good clean condition with staple rust but all still intact together with original card sleeve, 34 x 21cm - Shipping Info
