Royal Household Black Forage Hat Scottish, late Victorian or Edwardian. Black felt with corded decoration terminating in a large tassel. Interior with leather sweatband, gilt embossed with 'Royal Style' and 'Fine felt' logos, lining printed with US hat exhibitions. A period collection of photographs exist of Queen Victoria's servants, especially John Brown wearing forage hats of this type, moth damage to external verso of left side - Shipping Info
