Two volumes bound in 3/4 brown leather with marbled-paper-covered boards, matching end papers, maroon and black leather spine labels; clean and tight, spotting to lithographed frontispieces; very light rubbing to covers, a VG+ clean and attractive set in handsome period leather binding. Bearing the bookplate of Earl Cornwallis. First hand account of the Sikh Empire at the time of the Sikh Wars with considerable reference to Ranjit Singh, with a fine frontispiece showing him on horseback (2) - Shipping Info
