Entertainment George Frederick Handel Commemorative Bronze Medallion 1859 The Great Centenary Concerts at the Crystal Palace Obverse; Portrait Bust of Handel. Reverse; Laurel Wreath with legend "Centenary Commemoration Crystal Palace MDCCCLIX" (1859). Size 50mm, in good condition. Note: These were made for the Musicians involved, thus with the name of one of the musicians stamped on the edge. That year there was a series of concerts of Handel's music with large orchestras, the huge choirs sometimes numbered over 4,000. In as new condition - Shipping Info
