Viuda de Turgis.
Doña Marina en la Tienda de Cortés - Dona Marina sous la Tente de Cortés.
Paris: V. Turgis Éditeur, primera mitad del Siglo XIX. Litografía coloreada, 30 x 43.5 cm.; hoja completa, 42 x 54 cm. Con faltantes en tercio superior, afecta imagen. Escena idílica que muestra a Cortés, con sus armas, descansando al lado de Doña Marina. Litografía impresa por la familia Turgis, quienes fundaron y dirigieron una de las empresas litográficas más exitosas de Francia durante el Siglo XIX, llegando inclusive a abrir una sucursal en Nueva York. La empresa, fundada en 1828, se mantuvo activa durante casi todo el Siglo XIX. Es posible datar las litografías con base en la dirección de la imprenta, entre 1828 y 1853 la empresa estaba localizada en la calle de Saint-Jacques, en la ciudad de París.
