Demonstratio et Constructio Horologiorum Novorum. Radio Recto; Refracto in Aqua; Reflexo in Speculo; solo Magnete Horas Astronomicas, Italicas, Babylonicas Indicantium.
Friburgo: Johannes Strasser, 1622. 8o. marquilla, 4 h. + 128 p. 26 grabados de cobre intercalados en el texto y cinco láminas plegadas. Nombre de antiguo propietario en portada, fechado en 1637. Texto amarronado. Lámina de página 69 con rasgadura en margen superior. Encuadernado en pasta dura, en piel. El matemático y jesuita de Innsbruck, Georg Schönberger (1596 - 1645) trabajó como profesor de literatura, filosofía, hebreo, teología y matemáticas en Friburgo y luego en el Colegio Jesuita de Praga, concluyendo sus años de vida en el colegio de Olomouc como rector. Su producción escrita es escasa, este tratado sobre relojes solares y óptica fue su tesis universitaria. "Questo libro segna un passo decisivo nelle ricerche storiche relative all'invenzione degli orologi a rifrazione nelle coppe riempite d'acqua e a quelli riflessi in cui lo gnomone è sostituito da un piccolo specchio che riflette il raggio di luce sulla parete dove sono segnate le linee orarie".
