Carta Dirigida al Intendente de San Luis Potosí.
México, septiembre 5 de 1817. "…Exmo. Sor. Teniendo noticia el Rey Nro. Señor de que en el Bergantin francés la Paulina su Capitan Passement perteneciente a Mr. Labrande, ambos vecinos de San Juan de Luz, que han salido de ese Puerto con destino a Rio Janeyro; pero con intención de pasar a Buenos Ayres, u otros Puertos de Yndias se han embarcado mil y quinientos exemplares de las memorias de la revolución de España escritas pr. el Abate Pradt y traducidas al Castellano; ha resuelto S. M. q. V. E. redoble su vigilancia a fin de que si arriba dho. Buque a alguno de los Puertos del distrito de su mando no se introduzcan en ellos exemplares de la citada obra pr. lo prejudiciales q pueden ser a la tranquilidad publica…". Firma.
