Circular sobre Hostilidades de San Juan de Ulúa y Exhortación a Ayudar a la Defensa del Puerto de Veracruz.
Guadalajara, noviembre de 1823. "La independencia de la Nación Mexicana esta amenazada, y es obligación de todo ciudadano defenderla… El Castillo de Ulúa continúa en sus hostilidades; la plaza de Veracruz casi desierta y arruinada; sus defensores desnudos, cercados de privaciones de todo genero, siendo victimas los unos del furor de la guerra… El Estado de Xalisco… contradeciria sus principios federales, bajo cuya forma ha establecido provisionalmente su gobierno, sino solicitase medios para cubrir a la defensa general de la Nación…". 2 h., 20 x 15 cm.
