Texto con manchas de humedad en particular primeras y últimas páginas; portada con faltante en margen superior. Cajos quebrados y pastas muy gastadas. Encuadernado en pasta dura. Historia del Tribunal del Santo Oficio en México, desde su instalación hasta su abolición en la primera mitad del Siglo XIX. La inquisición tuvo un papel preponderante en México durante la guerra de independencia, sobre todo en las excomuniones y juicios a los cabecillas de los insurgentes, véase lote 97.
