Firmado y fechado 1985 Óleo sobre tela Mario Gómez Clausell es un pintor de paisaje mexicano, nieto del pintor Joaquín Clausell y Javier Gómez. Estudió Artes Plásticas en la Academia de San Carlos y Arquitectura en el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. Su estilo artístico está principalmente influenciado por la obra de Aguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet y Camille Pissarro, así como en los trabajos de los muralistas Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco y David Alfaro Siqueiros. A lo largo de su carrera, ha participado en más de 50 exposiciones individuales y colectivas en diferentes museos, galerías y casas de cultura de México y el extranjero.
