Amsterdam, ca. 1640. Mapa grabado, coloreado, 35 x 48.5 cm.; hoja completa, 47.2 x 58.5 cm. Texto en latín al reverso. Mapa de la costa oeste de la Nueva España, que incluye el territorio que componen los Estados actuales de México, Puebla, Querétaro, Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima, Jalisco, Guanajuato y Nayarit. La ciudad de México se muestra en medio de un gran lago, debajo del título decorado con el escudo de Armas de España, muestra varias minas de oro y plata; en el océano pacífico se encuentra adornado por un galeón y un monstruo marino.
