Ilustraciones y viñetas; cuatro de las viñetas son del célebre artista mexicano José María Velasco. Conserva pastas originales en rústica. Lomo gastado; sello de antigua biblioteca en la portada. Encuadernado en pasta dura. Estudio biográfico de Leona Vicario, quien durante la Guerra de Independencia formó parte de la sociedad secreta Los Guadalupes y sirvió como espía a favor de los insurgentes. Obra publicada en el marco de las celebraciones del Primer Centenario de la Independencia de México.
