México: Librería de la Vda. de C. Bouret, 1911. 8o. marquilla, 972 p. Profusamente ilustrado. Primera edición. Encuadernado en pasta dura. Palau: 75028. Porrúa 1949: 6673. En el año de 1910, el historiador y escritor italo-mexicano Adolfo Dollero viajó a la ciudad de Guadalajara como parte de un largo recorrido a través del país; este libro es resultado de esa travesía. El viaje de Dollero, realizado durante el último periodo del Porfiriato, describe a un México con un "porvenir halagüeño… el capital puede ser invertido de mil maneras, todas con alicientes magníficos y bajo la égida de un Gobierno firme, apto, civil, moderno, que ampara eficazmente a mexicanos y extranjeros".
