México: Francisco Díaz de León, 1882. 4o. marquilla, 370 p. Primera edición. Ilustrado con 20 retratos, litografías de H. Iriarte. Página 257 rasgada. Encuadernado en pasta dura, lomo y puntas en piel. Palau: 269828. Vicente Riva Palacio y Guerrero (1832 - 1896). Prolífico escritor y periodista mexicano. Publicó libros en verso, novelas y cuentos. Colaboró en publicaciones periódicas como "El Ahuizote". En "Los Ceros", obra folletinesca de corte satírico, el autor realiza una semblanza biográfica de algunos de los intelectuales y escritores mexicanos más relevantes del Siglo XIX: José M. Vigil, Manuel Payno, Juan de Dios Peza, Mariano Bárcena, Alfredo Chavero, etc.
